Philosophy

Like us, flowers live and breathe.  They speak a language that we all can understand.  Just like a beloved family heirloom passed down for years, flowers speak to us of timeless beauty and undying love. I love to create designs around the flower’s natural form with movement and life in mind.   No other element has the ability to bring life to your celebration like a perfectly crafted floral bouquet.  The natural beauty & fragrance of a flower can create mood, invoke powerful memories, and excite the senses.

At Heirloom, we intentionally limit the number of weddings and events we do each year.  We do this so I can be personally involved in the planning & design process from start to finish.  I oversee everything from the very first consultation, the selection of your flowers, all the details, design, and delivery.   I am committed to making your floral vision come to life.

We strive to create floral art filled with the most beautiful blooms and textures while providing you with a one of a kind experience and a service level that is second to none.

Tracie is the BEST! The flowers at my wedding were VERY important to me and she did above and beyond. She was constantly in contact with me and and clearly understood my vision and made it come to life.  I would highly recommend her for any floral needs and will definitely use her in the future.

Tracie

Founder & Lead Designer

For Tracie, Heirloom is a wonderful combination of natural beauty, design and artistic expression.  Tracie’s mission is for the client experience with Heirloom to be exceptional.   She is passionate about design and is her best when allowed full creative freedom.  She loves working with rich textures, foraged greens and lush florals from local growers and her own farm.  The number of events Heirloom does is limited to ensure she can be personally involved in each client experience.  From the first consultation to pinning on boutonnieres at the wedding, Tracie is committed to ensuring your event is a genuine expression of you.

Tracie lives on a seventy-acre farm in rural North Carolina with her husband, Wes.  She has two boys, Jordan & Carson.  She loves to sing and garden.  She also enjoys visiting the mountains of Virginia, floating the New River, and spending time with her family.

Working with Tracie was a dream. She got exactly what we were looking for right off the bat and made wonderful arrangements for our wedding including a lovely greenery piece for the mantel, the bouquets, and table arrangements. We would highly reccomend her work!
