When I first talked to Katie about her wedding, unfortunately, I wasn’t available on her wedding date.  Sadly, I had to refer her to another florist.   Several months went by and some things changed which opened up her date, so I called her back.  Thankfully, she hadn’t booked her florist yet!!

Katie and Clayton grew up in the same little town, but never knew each other.  They both moved away for a while, but when they moved back they finally met!

Working with this sweet couple was a dream!!  The color palette Katie chose was one of blush and ivory.  She wanted to use muted colors but have pops of color in the flowers with lots of texture and soft greens.  She wanted a rustic wedding with elegance and L’Abri At Linwood offered a beautiful venue for the vision Katie had for her day.  It offers and amazing open air barn with a gorgeous hanging chandelier right in the center.

Oh, and can we just talk about that dessert bar for a second?  Katie & Clay’s guests had the choice of 3 different flavors of wedding cake, along with cookies, brownie, and even a southern favorite, peach cobbler.  Heirloom Confections did a great job – they were all delicious!
